POSITION SUMMARY:

Position provides consumer lending services to customer. As needed/assigned, position assists customers with a full range of deposit related accounts while counseling customers on other bank products, and provides backup/services related to opening and maintaining personal/business checking and/or savings accounts, and other bank products and services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform consumer lending duties by originating and/or renewing loans, performing thorough review and credit analysis of applicant/borrower’s financial condition and ability to repay the loan, performing an evaluation of loan structure, assist or perform duties related to renegotiation of changes to loan, maintaining contact with individuals involved with loans in process, assist with administration of loans, and work with collectors on past dues and delinquencies. Administer the loan to include overdraft monitoring, field audits and inspections, financial statement analysis, review and monitoring compliance to the loan agreements. Perform periodic review of loan documentation and collateral evaluation, including any necessary borrowing base analysis.
  • Contact and/or work with collectors to resolve past dues and delinquencies. Comply with the initiation of watch-listed credit that represents deterioration from the original repayment terms.
  • Assist customers with all deposit and related accounts and services for both individuals and businesses, cross-sell, and/or refer customers to other areas of the bank (e.g., cash management, merchant processing, credit card, etc.).
  • In conjunction with others, effectively address and resolve customer inquiries and problems to ensure they are handled in an efficient and expedient manner.

Position may be required, as determined by supervisor/management, to provide notary services at the bank. Incumbents are required to maintain their registration active, and current, with the National Mortgage Licensing System throughout their employment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree or equivalent and four years of similar or related work experience.
  • Demonstrated skills and abilities in the areas of professionalism, confidentiality, quality management, adaptability, planning and organization, judgment/problem solving and individual responsibility and accountable.
  • Demonstrated analytical, mathematical and negotiation skill. Excellent customer service and sales skills. Experience with bank software programs or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and use lending software programs.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.

COMPENSATION: Position is located in the Southgate Branch in Missoula. Full-time, rate of pay DOE. This position is responsible for participating in relationship banking and ensuring overall profitability of the business product solutions. The e-Banking Business Solutions Specialist will partner with the business divisions of the bank such as Professional/Commercial Banking, Small Business Administration and retail branches.
